Danaher Nears Shipment of First Polonators; Church Team Still Reviewing Performance

The instrument, co-developed with George Churchs lab at Harvard Medical School and nicknamed the Polonator, is competing with Helicos BioSciences HeliScope to become the fourth next-generation sequencer to reach the market. But Danahers distribution model differs markedly from that of the three vendors currently selling systems.
